Hendrix met his new cousins on Friday. Melissa and David were blessed with two "little" malamute puppies this week. I say "little" because at 8 weeks, they are already about 16-17 lbs. each! These are gonna be some big dogs ya'll!
At first, Hendrix would play with them for a few seconds, get overwhelmed by the two huge dogs playing a little rougher than he'd like, then run to the top of the steps to try and get in the house.

Later, after LOTS of running and chasing, (Hendrix even chased BOTH of them at times),

Landscaping looking a little smooshed these days. 
"Kya", the little girl pup. By the way, she's also going to be a show dog, A.K.A. a natural born super model. She's a heart breaker and the dominant one of the bunch.

Casey was also there, but you wouldn't have known it. She watched her niece and nephews play from her favorite place to wallow in the landscaping. The quiet elder, she'll be 13 on November 20th, that's 91 in people years!!
Mom and sis finally wrangled all the dogs for a family picture.Everyone finally looked at the camera on the umpteenth take.
